mt Thun Resolve launched

12.02.2026 we launched the Thun Resolve, the 20th Tanker built at Shipyard Ferus Smit — Improvement as tradition for the Erik Thun Group. We had the honor to have Mrs Brigit Gijsbers as our godmother and were surrounded by the Secretary General of the International Maritime Organization — IMO Mr Arsenio Dominques, Mr Thomas Kazakos of the ICS, Mr Sotiris Raptis of the ES/ECSA, Mrs Karen Davis of OCIMF, Mr Frans Ubachs of Intertanko ,several of our clients (Oil majors) , government representatives, directors and board members of various ship owners associations suppliers, colleagues from the maritime industry, and the future seafarers from the Zeevaartschool in Delfzijl. Wista the Netherlands members and last but not least several dear and close friends. People flew in from all around the word to witness this special occasion.
